Keep On Steppin’ follows The Steppers, a dance company of women aged 65-86, during their demanding schedule of rehearsals and performances. Though many their age feel limited by their aging bodies, the Steppers express their creativity in dance, continuing to be active long after many might give up. They have become an inspiration to people all over the New York area. The filmmakers record the Steppers' rehearsals and travel with the company to performances throughout the City. We meet all the dancers and get to know five of them intimately. More than a dance company, the Steppers are a community of friends who support each other through the inevitable tragedies of life as they inspire each other and their audiences to 'keep on steppin'.
